A few things you need to know
We are delighted to welcome you to Basseilles, where you can stay in our unusual ‘Glamping’ accommodation in the heart of nature, as well as in our farmhouse rooms.
Glamping”, or “Glamour Camping”, is an experience that plunges you into the heart of nature. The sensations are, in essence, different from those of your everyday life. You’re likely to be woken up by birdsong or the sound of a deer, the wind blowing, the rain rattling or the light of the sunrise. Depending on the season, it may also be warmer or colder than at home. To make your stay as pleasant as possible, rest assured that we will do everything possible, for example by providing a heated mattress, additional heating, a minibar, night masks, etc.
Each unusual accommodation is equipped with a dry toilet, sink and spoon. You have access to an outdoor shower, not far from the wellness area.
Please bear in mind that, in order to guarantee a quality experience, the self-catering accommodations are far apart. As a result, you will need to walk along a path for 5 minutes, which may be muddy in heavy rain.
The rooms in the farmhouse offer all the charm and comfort of an old building. To preserve the authenticity of the place, there is no lift or air conditioning, the absence of which is compensated for by very thick walls.
Our aim is to make you feel at home at the Ferme de Basseilles. So there is no reception, but everything is in place to make you feel welcome. Similarly, there is no restaurant on site. However, you can count on a breakfast service and local gourmet formulas in your room. There are also a number of restaurants within ten minutes of the farm.
If you wish to take advantage of the wellness area, we ask you to book in advance so that we can privatise it for you.
